We dissect the notion that atheist are obsessed with religion, and if we are, why that is. We also talk about the differences between progressive, mainline and fundamentalist versions of religions (because we're obsessed) and why we need to find common ground with the progressives if we hope to stem the tide of our current political climate.

We're Back !! We missed a week. Jeff's daughter was getting married & I had an opportunity to host a Charity Poker Tournament at a Celebrity Golf Fundraiser and was able to go to the beach and play golf for a long weekend. But we're back, and not too soon. We recorded this the day after the latest round of elections. In this episode we have a conversation about the election results from the Atheist/Secular/Humanist perspective. In the Bi-weekly Bounce around the Bible Belt, (the BBBB) we talk about Kim Davis, like us She's Back!! And finally I have an awesome analogy to tie the entire conversation up with a neat bow, and like Keyser Soze, poof it was gone.

On this episode we discuss the fact that the host over at Fox & Friends, in a search for a narrative, placed the blame for the Las Vegas shooting at the feet of Atheism and Humanism. We also talk about the the new Anti-LGBTQ law in Mississippi (HB 1523) that went into effect this past week allowing discrimination against the LGBTQ community based upon religious beliefs. We cap it off with a discussion about the Georgia State Supreme Court's recent ruling the it is NOT illegal in Georgia to flip off a Pastor during a church service. Oh yea, and we dare anybody and everybody to sue us just enough to raise our profile and therefore increase our download numbers.
